All the way up!

Kilimanjaro climber

Our Caretaker Mustafa Reyman of the Enfield Grammar School in London has once faced a mountain climb, the first time round was not so successful and saw Mus return home with a complete achilles tendon rupture. Despite such a large setback Mus was determined to make it to the summit of this monstrosity and with that determination and desire has completed the task in hand.

Mus celebrates a successful climb of Mount Everest, this has been one of his lifelong goals and Mus has a real passion and skill for mountain climbing. Everyone at Turnstyles Academy joins him in his excitement and for this reason are going to hold an in-house climbing wall challenge just to get a insight of the perils this superstar Caretaker must have faced on his way up.

Mus Goes up the Mountain

Statement from Mus:

“Hi everyone,

I am really looking forward to this difficult and exciting challenge at Everest to reach Base camp & Mount Kala Pattar making a total of 5555 metres.

Temperatures are going to be around -14 to -20 degrees centigrade at Base camp. As most of you know in 2014 I successfully climbed the Kilimanjaro summit, so this will prepare me for the new climb.

I have been training very hard over the last 4 months in bad weather conditions to prepare myself for this challenge.

Please sponsor me so we can refurbish & improve our Lower School library.

Many thanks
Mus”
