The new Turnstyles x Nike Training Kit has arrived!

Our mission at Turnstyles is to create the very best playing environment for our players, where they can learn, develop and become great footballers and even better people

We are determined to make sure each and every Turnstyles player gets the most out of their life at the club and enjoys a football experience like no other.

Looking forward to 2017 we have HUGE plans to progress Turnstyles in ways you have never seen before. New equipment, a Parent Committee, new players, a Youth Council, new football centres, more Futsal, FA Charter Standard, the list goes on!

Therefore, as part of this goal we want to ensure we look the part on our journey to success. That is why, after a few years testing out other football clothing brands we have decided to go back to Nike training kits and Nike match kits for our players.

The very latest Turnstyles Nike kit has reverted back to the original colour scheme, with a yellow shirt with white shorts and socks. We have also brought back the ‘BLACK OUT’ Turnstyles badge to go on this incredible new kit.

As we grow Turnstyles and move the academy forwards, we must ensure everyone is moving with us. So, as of 2017, ALL existing Turnstyles players must be training in a Turnstyles Kit.

Of course, we will still be providing the Nike Match Day kit free of charge for all of our players that play in our league teams.

Zack is Back

For any Football Academy it is rare to have even one player go on from playing at grassroots level to pushing for stardom. We have seen Zack turn heads at West Ham and Tottenham, there have even been rumours that Arsenal have shown interest and now QPR are being blessed by this rarely talented young maestro. Zack qualities include;

  • Leadership + Character
  • Technical Ability
  • Defensive Prowess
  • Turning Defence in to Attack
  • Speed + Acceleration
  • Endurance

Floppy hair zack is not to be messed with, do not be fooled by that cheeky grin and those sweet eyes he is something of an animal when he crosses that white line and takes no prisoners. This young man has been playing 1 year above his age for his entire career at out Football Team in Enfield and has shown that if the FA would allow, he could even play up another age group. Zack can stop goals and score goals which is what makes him the superb player he is.

As always a very special mention goes out to Alex and Amir his parents who have ensured that Zack trains consistently and attends every game where possible. Salute!

All Akaash

When Akaash first came to us we knew there was something special about him! Although he is a Tottenham fan and our Academy Director is an avid Arsenal Fan and Coach, they managed to sort out their differences and began what has been a wonderful journey of footballing excellence at our football academy in North London Enfield.

Akaash took instantly to the Samba theme at Turnstyles with his first lesson in fact being during our Futsal Winter Programme. This young boy has the body balance of a ballerina and can could quite easily weave his way through London traffic during rush hour if he had a ball at his feet. Again, we have to thank his parents Maninder and Susan who work tirelessly during the week and still find time to ensure Akaash does not miss a game or a training session at the Enfield Grammar School.

We attribute a lot of Akaash’s success to his lean physique and footballing brain, we are excited to see how he does at his trial at QPR and we are even more excited to see the skills he pulls off!

Youth Football Player from Enfield goes on trial at QPR

Steady Eddy

We are elated to announce that young Eddy Hathaway who has been with Turnstyles Football Academy for 5 years will be going on trial with professional setup Queens Park Rangers.

As you well know QPR are a are based in West London which isn’t too close to Enfield where our Football Academy for Children host their football classes on weekends and weekdays. This means young Eddy will have to be well prepared ahead of his trial with football giants QPR.

Eddy thoroughly deserves this opportunity, he very rarely misses a training session or game and works his hardest to try and push himself to the highest possible level. No matter what the outcome of Eddy’s trial he will go on to great things there is no doubting that! On top of Ed’s hard work we must also take a moment to thank his parents Alan and Fi who support Ed in all he does, they too are key players in the sporting world (Team GB) but we will talk more about that another time…

You can find our biggest and longest running football academy every Saturday and Sunday at the amazing Enfield Grammar School, which is located right in the heart of Enfield Town, north London.

Enfield Grammar School was founded in 1558 and nearly 500 years later Turnstyles is using the ever prestigious facilities to host our football and futsal classes for children from across London.

If you are looking for children’s football classes in Brighton then you can find our academy every week at the Brighton Hove and Sussex Sixth form college, or the BHASVIC as it is more commonly known.
