SAP World Cup 2016

On behalf of all 28 players who represented the UK at the SAP World Cup this year, Turnstyles Football Academy would like to pass on a huge thank you for your continued support allowing Turnstyles Football Club to sponsor the kits.

SAP UK players had a successful qualification after arriving on the Friday with 2 of our 3 teams winning all of their group games, scoring 32 goals and conceding 0. SAP UK teams success continued during the knock-out stages on Saturday and they were able to push through to the quarter-finals, narrowly losing to Italy. This is a great achievement considering that this year saw 80 teams entering the tournament from around the world.

Everyone involved should be  immensely proud of this year’s squad which was made up of colleagues from across the UK business. They were true professionals and I am sure they have contributed to the excellent brand/image of SAP UK.

The tournament continues to provide an excellent team building and networking opportunity and we look forward to returning (and winning!) in 2017.
